Today SSC CGL tier I exam analysis and review for August 31, 2016 question paper morning /evening exam expected cut off marks.On august 31 the exam was conducted in three shifts as usual. In some of the centers candidates’ complaint of the low speed of server and technical faults and in many other centers it was fine. First the biometric authentication for the exam was recorded and after this candidates were allowed to appear for the exam.

The exam was conducted in there shifts. The pattern and complexity of the exam was almost the same for all the sessions but the complexity in general knowledge depends on what candidates have learnt and what was asked in the examination. Here the review of SSC CGL tier I exam for august 31 has been given which is useful for candidates and they can prepare well for the exam. This was the first time SSC has conducted online examination and so the questions were relatively easier. SSC CGL tier I exam questions asked on august 31, 2016

The exam was conducted online and the duration for the test was 75 minutes. Total number of questions were 100 and total marks in the exam was 200. There was negative marking for 0.5 marks in the examination for all the wrong answers and candidates should be careful for the same. The review of the exam is given as under:

English section: moderate to easy. Questions were asked from

  2. Passage based question for 5 marks
  3. Error correction
  4. Idioms and phases
  5. Synonyms and antonyms etc

Reasoning questions: easy in complexity

Questions were asked from

  1. Verbal reasoning
  2. Nonverbal reasoning
  3. Series based questions
  4. Blood relation based questions
  5. Puzzle based questions

How to solve statement and assumption in reasoning

Math aptitude: easy to moderate

  1. One question for 5 marks was for the bar graph
  2. Compound interest and simple interest
  3. Work and time
  4. Allegation and mixtures
  5. Trigonometry
  6. Plane figures etc

General knowledge: moderate to tough

For some of the sessions it was easier and for many others it was moderate in nature./ candidates have to study it deep to secure marks else they won’t be able to perform well in this section.
