RBI Grade B syllabus 2017

RBI Grade B officers recruitment is done each year and now candidates will have to apply online for the post. The pattern of the exam and syllabus is given below. Candidates need to understand it clearly and after this they have to start the preparation in right direction as per this. Candidates will need to know the details which are as under.
RBI Grade B officers pattern of exam 2017
The RBI grad b officer exam 2017 will be conducted online on computer. Candidates will need to appear in prelim and mains both. The exam will be 2 tier examination. Marks obtained by candidates in prelim will not be considered for the selection process and this is only for the qualifying nature. Candidates will have to appear for the mains exam and marks obtained by mains will be used to call them for the final selection process. Pattern of Tier I exam
- General English for 40 marks
- General reasoning for 40 amrks
- General aptitude test for 40 marks
- General awareness for 40 marks
- Computer awareness for 40 marks
Total marks will be 200 and questions will be 200. Time allowed will be 2 hour( 120 minutes). There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in the exam
Pattern of mains exam:
Candidates who will qualify the prelim will be called for mains exam which will consist of 3 tests. Questions will consist of both Descriptive and objective type test as under
- General English (Descriptive) for 90 marks
- Economics and social issues for 90 marks
- Finance and management for 90 marks
This will be followed by interview process as last phase.
