RBI assistant exam changed exam pattern 2017 New syllabus.Reserve bank of India is the central bank of India and each year it releases vacancy for the post of assistant and officers grade B. A lot of candidates have applied for the examination. They should first understand the pattern of the examination which has been given here and based on their performance in written prelim exam they will be finally called for the mains examination.
The RBI assistant prelim exam 2016-17 has been introduced in the RBI assistant exam for the first phase mainly to eliminate the number of candidates who are appearing in the exam. Each year the number of candidates appearing in the exam has been increasing and a lot of candidates are appearing in the examination. They have to clear the sectional cutoff and overall cutoff of prelim before they will be called for the mains examination. Here are the details
RBI Assistants prelim exam pattern (changed) 2016
RBI has released notification this year and based on it, the number of vacancy is very less, also the pattern of exam has been changed. This year the prelim phase has been introduced in the examination. RBI assistant recruitment Prelim exam is only for the qualifying nature and all those candidates who will pass prelim will be selected for mains. Marks obtained in prelim will not be counted and this is only for qualifying purpose.
Pattern of prelim
- English test for 30 marks
- Reasoning test for 35 marks
- Math aptitude test for 35 marks
Total marks will be 100 and time allowed will be 1 hour. Candidates who will qualify the prelim will be called next for the mains examination.
Pattern of mains examination
- English test for 40 marks
- Reasoning test for 40 marks
- Math aptitude test for 40 marks
- General awareness for 40 marks
- Current affairs for 40 marks
