RRB Railways Preparation and syllabus of exam
Earlier India railways have notified the recruitment after long 3 years, currently the vacancy are released for Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, ECRC, Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist, Assistant Station Master, Traffic Assistant and Senior Time Keeper out of which most of the post concerned graduate level. Candidates should prepare well and work hard according to the syllabus and pattern of the examination. There are various phases f the selection process out of which the written test is most important process. Candidates who will qualify the written test will next be called for the document verification/ skill test/ medical examination etc. for the post like ticket clerk etc there will be skill test and candidates will need to have good typing skill and the test will be conducted online on computer. it will be of qualifying nature only and no marks will be awarded to candidates for this but they have to pass the examination. Here are some of the details which candidates should know before appearing to the examination. Process of selection involved in the exam is as under:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Skill Test (Typing Test)
- Aptitude Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Fitness Test
Candidates should know that the question paper will have 100 questions and candidates will be given 90 minutes of time for this. They will have to solve the paper on computer and after the completion of 90 minutes the paper will be automatically submitted at the server end. Candidates should keep in mind that there is negative marking in the examination for 1/3 and they should solve only those questions in which they are sure. There will be 3 sections form which the questions will be asked. There is no sectional cutoff amrks and candidates will need to pass the overall examination with good amrks. Based on their performance in the exam and the preference marked by them duting the examination, they will be called for the next proce3ss of selection. The 3 sections in the examination which are very important are as under:
- General Awareness
- Arithmetic/ mathematical questions
- General Intelligence and reasoning aptitude

Syllabus for Indian Railways examination 2016
There will be questions from this section and questions will be comprised of both verbal and non verbal reasoning. It will be easy to moderate in nature and candidates should solve some previous year paper which will enable them to understand the details.
Candidates should focus about the current happening and current affairs. There will be various questions form this section ad it is expected that around 25 questions will be from this section and more than this. Candidates who will score good marks in the examination have better chances of selection in the examination. Candidates can learn current affairs, banking news, railways terms, latest general awareness etc to score well in the examination.
Candidates who are going to appear in the examination should focus well in the math questions. There will be questions from ration and proportion, LCM and HCF, profit and loss, CI and SI, boat and stream, distance and speed, age related problems and various miscellaneous problems which candidates should know. there will be arund 30 questions form this section and candidates should score well in the examination.
