Nobel Prize is regarded as the top most awards in the world which is given in several fields including Physics, Chemistry, Medicines, peace, literature and economics. Originally only in the fields on physics, chemistry and Medicines the Nobel Prize was awarded but later this was stated for the other fields. Generally it gives the sense of peace and all the achievements are related to the peace and welfare of the humanity in which the Nobel prizes are given. Sir Alfred Nobel from Sweden invented Dynamite in 1895. He was given the awards and prize money for his research and discovery. It is in his name that Nobel Prize is given each year. Sir Alfred Nobel realized the destructive power of his invention later and he did not want to be recognized for something which was meant for the destruction of the humanity. He formed the Nobel foundation in 1985 from the prize money and his research work and constituted this foundation to award the scientist, people who have contributed immensely to the humanity.
Alfred Nobel invented 355 things in his lifetime but he is known only for the Dynamite. For the first time Nobel prize was awarded in the year 1901 and it was given in the field of Medicine, physics and chemistry only. Later it was started for the peace, literature and economics. People from all around the world are recognized for their contribution to the humanity in field of medicines, physics, chemistry, peace and economics by the Nobel committees which constitute the members from Norway and Sweden and for their contribution it awards prizes to them each year. The prize constitutes a letter of appreciation and cash award. A lot of people from world have won Nobel Prize for their great discoveries and work they have offered to the mankind. Mother Teresa in India had won Nobel prize in Peace, Rabindranath Tagore had won Nobel prize in Literature for Geetanjali (a collection of poems), Dr Hargobind Khurana has won the Nobel prize in Medicines and Dr S chandrashekar and VenketRaman have won it in physics etc.
