BOM is one of the leading PSB and it is going to conduct the exam very soon. Candidates should understand the pattern of exam first. The exam will be a single phase test which will consist of writte test for 200 marks and this will be followed by personal interview process. Written test will have 4 sections each for 50 marks
- English test for 50 marks
- Reasoning test for 50 marks
- Math aptitude test for 50 marks
- GA with special reference to banking industry- 50 marks
Candidates who are going to appear in the exam should know this. They should keep these two points in mind while appearing for the exam
- Accuracy and speed
You must have good speed and for this you must have practiced much before the examination else it will affect your performance so try to have good speed in the examination and you can solve a lot of question. Also accuracy is important so solve only those questions in which you are sure
Passing in each of the section is required. So allocate time for each section in advance. In the exam you will be given 2 hours of time and you have to manage your rime for the examination. Passing in each section is required.
What to study for BOM Manipal exam
The next step towards preparation is to understand what is being asked in the examination what you need to study for the test. There will be 4 sections in the exam which has been discussed above. There will be reading comprehension, cloze test, fill in the blanks, double fillers, error correction and error detection etc. candidates can leave the RC and they should solve the other questions first.

In this section, questions will be asked from various topics but candidates should fist solve the below topics
(c) Miscellaneous topics including Blood relations and Direction based questions.
There will be qestions from Puzzle/ Seating Arrangement (Circular/ Linear), Input – Output, Inequality, Syllogism, Coding – Decoding, Data Sufficiency, Miscellaneous Topics (Blood Relations, Direction, Ranking) also
