IBPS Specialist officers exam- how to prepare

Now first understand the latest pattern of exam for IBPS SO and we will discuss how they can prepare for each of the specialist officers posts. The pattern of the exam has been changed by IBPS this time. It has kept all the sections same as what it sued to be but has made all other sections qualifying except the professional knowledge section. Also the marks for professional knowledge section has been increased to 80 which was earlier used to be 75 for all the examination. Now let us understand the latest pattern of the exam first.
The exam will be conducted online on computer and there will be 4- 5 sections in the exam based on the post to which candidates applied. The sections in the exam will be as under
- General awareness- 50 marks only for Law and Rajbhashaadhikari
- English language- 50 marks
- Quantitative aptitude- 50 marks
- Reasoning section- 50 marks
- Professional knowledge section 80 marks
Only the marks obtained in professional knowledge section will be counted and marks obtained in all other sections will not be counted for next phase of interview. Candidates however will be required to pass each of the sections individually and the passing marks (cutoff) for each of the section ill be set by IBPS. There will be negative marking in the examination. for each wrong answer, candidates will be penalized through ¼ of the total marks allotted to that question. So focus on accuracy and speed. The time allowed for whole test will be 2 hours and candidates can allocate time for each section according to their preparation
