IBPS Law officer’s examination pattern and syllabus
Candidate must hold a “University Degree,” i.e. he/she must be a graduate.Candidate must have an age between 20 to 30 years.He/she must hold an LLB Bachelor degree and enrolled with Bar Council as an Advocate.
Upper age of the candidates should not exceed 30 years of age and all those candidates who belong to reserved categories will be given exemption in upper age limits as per the rules of the government.
Pattern of examination
The exam will be conducted online on computer and there will be 200 questions in the exam which has been given as under.
IBPS Law officer exam have two stages:
- Written test and
It will consist of four sections i.e.
- SO Reasoning test of 50 marks
- SO English language test of 25 marks
- SO General awareness test of 50 marks
- SO Professional knowledge test of 75 marks
Candidates should know that they have to qualify the exam and each section. Each section will have its separate cutoff marks and all those candidates who will qualify the cutoff in each section as well as overall cutoff in the exam will be called next for the interview process. Interview process will be for 50 marks and the candidate’s marks will be scaled to 100 and out of 100 the final selection process will be made.
