IBPS clerk VI Mains final study plan 2016. IBPS Clerk VI exam is soon going to be conducted at various centers across the country. Currently the prelim exam has been conducted and the result is awaited. Candidates in large numbers have applied for the examination and they have appeared in prelim exam. Prelim is the first phase and meant for the screening purpose only. The marks obtained by candidates in prelim will not be counted and only the marks of the candidates in mains examination will be taken into consideration for the final merit list preparation. Candidates should therefore focus well on the mains examination and they should sum up all the techniques, practice together to score well in the examination. A few days have left for the mains examination and candidates should be well prepared for this. This time the competition is even harder as the number of vacancy is lesser as compared to last year’s.

IBPS Clerk Mains preparation tips 2016

IBPS will conduct the mains examination for 200 marks. The exam will be fully objective in nature. There will be 200 questions for 200 marks and there will be negative marking in the examination. Candidates will need to qualify each of the 5 sections in the exam and also the overall cutoff in their category. The exam will be conducted fully on computer. There will not be any descriptive test. Candidates who will pass the mains exam will be called next for the joining process. There is no interview for the post of clerks this time. Below is the pattern of the exam

  1. English test for 40 marks
  2. Reasoning test for 40 marks
  3. Math Aptitude test for 40 marks
  4. General awareness for 40 marks
  5. Computer awareness for 40 marks

Maximum number of questions will be asked form current affairs and banking awareness. For current affairs candidates should read at least 3 months of current affairs updates.

What to do and what not to do in exam

Candidates should know what they should do and what they should avoid in the examination. They have to work hard for the examination as the cutoff for these exam is generally higher. Candidates should try to score maximum marks in the examination. the cutoff for each category is different and candidates will be required to pass in their category

  1. Focus on speed and accuracy

You have to pre decide the time limit for each of the section and try to complete the section within that time. If you are not sure of any question, you can leave that. Focus on the accuracy

This will help candidates to enhance their speed in the examination and they will become more confident before appearing in the examination

Prepare well for each section. Manage your time for each section. Passing in each section is required. There is sectional cutoff

Reach the exam center before the mentioned time. Keep clam and relax before the examination. you can leave reading new things before one night of the exam to avoid any confusion.
