IBPS clerk Mains exam review and questions asked January 1, 2017.On Sunday, January 1, 2017 IBPS conducted the mains examination for the post of ibps clerks in various public sector banks and a lot of candidates had appeared in the examination. Now candidates are willing to know the questions asked in the examination and it will help them during the upcoming examinations. The exam was for 2 hours and questions were comprised 5 sections and each section had 40 questions. Overall preference of candidates in mains exam along with personal interview will be taken into account while preparing the final cutoff list. The type of questions asked in the exam in overall session has been summarized and candidates can check it out. The exam will be for 2 hours and total marks will be 200. There will be negative marking for .25 marks.

IBPS Clerk VI questions asked on January 1, 2016

The exam is fully online and there is 200 questions in the examination. The complexity of the questions is moderate and candidates could have attempted upto 120 marks in the examination. section wise review of the examination has been given below.

Quantitative awareness:

Mostly the questions were asked from the statement based questions and candidates should focus on this. Questions were asked from

  1. Series based questions
  2. Approximation based questions
  3. Simplification based questions
  4. Inequalities based questions
  5. CI and SI, speed and distance, mixture and allegation, Profit and loss statement based questions
  6. Plane geometry questions

General awareness:

Mostly the questions were asked from the current affairs. A few were asked from the static GK and banking awareness

Computer awareness:

This was easier section as compared to all other sections. Questions were asked from base computer concepts. Candidates can score upto 30 marks in this section easily
