How to prepare for nabard grade a exam

According to the notification, there will be 2 phase of written test which will be followed by the personal interview as the last phase. Candidates will be issued admit cards for all these phases. Prelim and mains both the tests will be conducted online on computer only.

NABARD Grade A/ Asst manager preparation tips 2017

NABARD Pattern of exam for Asst managers

NABARD will hold examination online for the recruitment process. First candidates will be required to know the pattern of exam.

Total test will be for 200 marks and time allowed will be 2 hours. There will be negative marking in the test. Each question will have negative marking of 0.25 marks and candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer. Sections of the exam will comprise.

  1. Revise your Grammar and vocabulary
  2. Focus on RC, sentence improvement, error correction, error detection, re arrangement of sentences etc

Reasoning test- how to prepare

The next is the reasoning test. You must know what the core topics are and what topics you need to prepare for the examination. You will be required to work hard for reasoning though it is only for 20 marks. Focus on these topics

  1. Series and alphanumeric series based questions
  2. Direction test and blood relation test
  3. Syllogism test
  4. Number and machine arrangement
  5. Coding and decoding type of questions
  6. Sitting arrangement and line arrangement based questions

Quantitative aptitude test:

QA is one of the important part of testing the candidates knowledge of math section. Math is very important section in banking related exams so you will have to know all the core and basics concepts of math and calculation (quant) before you can start your preparation. Focus on these concepts

  2. Quadratic equations
  3. Sequence and series, missing number etc
  4. Plane geometry and 3D geometry. However, questions from 3D geometry will be restricted to parallelepiped, Cone and cylinders, cube and cuboid

This is a test which comprises questions from current affairs and static GK also. Questions will be asked from current affairs and so you should prepare at least 3 months of current affairs for the examination. With this also a few questions can be asked from static GK which you need to prepare. With this focus on banking awareness as well, as a few questions can be asked from the banking awareness based quiz also.

Computer awareness: how to prepare?

This will be one of the easiest sections in the exam. Computer knowledge is tested to know the basic aptitude of candidates about computer and their working knowledge of computer. Very basic type of questions are asked from this section. You can learn
