NABARD exam pattern and syllabus 2018
National bank of agriculture and rural development is a bank which is the supervising unit of all RRBs and it also provides credit to the RRB when they need. It also gives loan to farmers and artisans for various works and it has established several branches both in rural and urban n areas. Most of the branches are in urban areas. Candidates who are preparing hard for the NABARD assistant manager exam should work hard and they have to understand the pattern and syllabus of the examination which has been give below.
First the exam will be conducted online for prelim phase. Candidates will be called to appear in the initial phase which will be called prelim exam. This will contain 100 questions and this will be of qualifying nature to select candidates for the Mains exam. All those who will secure minimum marks in each section and overall examination will be called next for the mains exam. The pattern of prelim exam has been given below. All the questions will be objective in nature and there will be negative marking in the exam.
- General English for 30 marks
- Reasoning test for 35 marks
- Aptitude test for 35 marks
This will be followed by the mains exam. In Mains exam there will not be any descriptive exam and the pattern for the exam will be same as that of IBPS PO and the complexity will be of the same level. Candidates will need to qualify the exam with sectional as well as category cutoff of the examination. The pattern of the exam has been given below. There is negative marking in the exam and candidates should take care of the negative marking in the exam.
Pattern of mains exam is as under:
- English section for 40 marks.
- General awareness for 20 marks
- Computer awareness for 20 marks
- Quantitative awareness for 30 marks
- Reasoning section for 40 marks
Candidates will need to pass each section individually and also the overall examination with their category cutoff else they will not be allowed to appear in the personal interview process. Below are some of the tips which candidates will need to know.
Prepare General awareness for last 3 months
This is very important section and candidates cannot leave this section. It will allow them to score at least 15 marks in the examination of they have prepared well. They have to be well aware of national and international news and affairs and after this they will be able to qualify the exam. This will also provide additional time to candidates for next section
Questions will be asked from basics of computer relating to hardware and software, parts of computer, processing of computer, basic work in Ms office, short cuts used in MS office, general purpose computers and their functions etc. candidates can easily score more than 15 marks in this section too
This will be one of the most important section and candidates will need to prepare this section well else they will not be able to pass the exam. The questions will be asked from sitting arrangement, circular arrangement , floor based arrangement, puzzle based questions, input and output based question etc. Candidates can do at least 20 questions from this section.
This is also one of the very important section. A few questions will be from SI and CI, partnership, Profit and loss, Allegation and mixture, speed and distance, boat related problems etc. Also a major part of this section will contain questions on Data interpretation
Also candidates will need to focus on economic and social issues and Agriculture and development from where the questions are often asked in the examination. Candidates will need to focus on English section as well.
